CrossFit Elements Program
Our CrossFit Elements program will prepare you for our Advanced Crossfit classes at CrossFit Peachtree. This program is designed for everyone, regardless of fitness level. You will be guided through the basics of CrossFit movements and you will be taught the philosophy behind CrossFit. That said, expect to see your fitness increases as you progress and become more comfortable with the training.
Those with more advanced athletic backgrounds will also benefit from the program due to the technical nature of many of the movements. As well, this program is scalable based on each and every athlete and their level.
We start new athletes in CrossFit Elements each Monday, space permitting (we limit space to ensure you receive proper coaching attention.)
To get started in CrossFit Elements:
- First, purchase a membership of your choice and the Monday you would like to start training by clicking HERE. This guarantees you the next available spot and serves as a deposit on your first month in Elements.
- After reserving, you will receive a couple of emails confirming your reservation and membership information.
- Arrive on the Monday you chose to start in CrossFit Elements roughly 5 minutes before (there will be a coach there to greet you).
Our current CrossFit Elements classes meet at the following times .
- M/T/TH – 6:30pm
If you are new member, you must start on Monday.
All CrossFit Elements athletes have access to Open Gyms to practice skills or make up missed workouts. Open gym is Saturday 11am-12pm & 3-4pm and Sunday 11am-12pm. We also host free, all-levels workouts every Wednesday at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 9am — this class is open to non-members, Elements members and Advanced members.
If you miss a class, no problem. Because this is a continuously running program, we will be revisiting the material at some point.
The program is designed as a regular monthly membership. We offer 4 types of memberships: Month-to-Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, and 12 Months. If you are a student/teacher/first responder or family, our rates change according to the membership you choose. See our “Pricing” page for more details.
Once you feel comfortable in the movements and you want to progress into our Advanced CrossFit Program, your CrossFit Elements membership is transferable.
You must spend AT LEAST 4 weeks in our CrossFit Elements program before choosing to test into our Advanced CrossFit program. Test In cost is $50 and is during a 1×1 session with a coach.; $25 of the $50 is applied toward your next month’s payment.
Advanced CrossFit Test-In
After a minimum of 4 weeks in the CrossFit Elements course, you should become very familiar with the movements, build strength, and improve your conditioning. You may then be ready for the next step: our Advanced Crossfit classes. Testing in is easy! Simply discuss your desire with one of the coaches and they will schedule a time to evaluate your fitness level. We have made the test-in requirements available below, so you will know exactly what is required and how best to be prepared.
If you feel as though you want to stay in CrossFit Elements for an extended period of time, then stay. You will still receive the same coaching and training in order for you to reach your fitness goals.
Elements Test Out Criteria
Demonstrate Each Squat With a PVC Pipe
Preform 5 reps of each with complete focus on depth below 90, knees over toes, weight on heels, and chest up
Demonstrate Each Press
Perform 5 reps of each with complete focus on full lock out, driving through heels, midline stability
75% of BW Back Squat x 3
75% of BW Deadlift x 3
10 Unbroken Pushups (with or without abmat)
3 Unbroken Pullups (male no band/females blue band or less)
60s Unbroken Plank
10 Unbroken Wallballs
3 RFT (Helen) 15:00 or Less
