CrossFit is different animal than traditional fitness programs and so is our approach with nutrition. We like to think our ancestors had it right and that breads, grains or beans should not be the mainstay of a person’s diet. Have you fallen out of your chair yet? I’m sure you are wondering what to eat then, right? It’s easy: Eat meats, veggies, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO sugar, NO processed food, NO grains, NO legumes and NO dairy!
We also want to focus on fueling our workouts to get the maximum results. Knowing what to eat, when to eat…it can be confusing at first. We are here to help and have several different options:
4 WEEK INTENSIVE NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING:
Please note: This is a tough love counseling! I expect you to commit 100% to doing Paleo/Primal during our 4 weeks together.
- One-on-one 30-45 minute introductory session where we go over the basics of Paleo/Primal, your personal goals, what foods to avoid and what to eat.
- Before and after pictures
- Weekly review of your food journal as well as to discuss how you are feeling, how your diet is going and any changes or tweaks we might need to make
- 24/7 access, okay, not exactly 24/7, but you can schedule appointments, send emails or cry on respective shoulders at any time during the four weeks.
Cost: $150
PALEO POLICE
During this private meeting customized to your nutrition needs and goals, we will do a paleo consultation including any/all of the following:
- clean out your food supply
- set nutrition goals
- meal planning including pre/post WOD nutrition
- receive customized supplement advice
- learn what foods you should have on hand at all times
- make a shopping trip to your regular grocery store/farmer’s market
Cost: $60/ hour (time required varies by case)
