Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
75/45 Pound Snatch, 30 reps
135/75 Pound Snatch, 30 reps
165/100 Pound Snatch, 30 reps
210/120 Pound Snatch, as many reps as possible
The 2012 CrossFit Opens are finally here!!! Over the next 5 weeks, there will be one WOD each week that will go towards qualifying for the 2012 CrossFit Southeast Regionals. We will be holding the WOD on Thursdays for normal classes, and Saturday mornings competition style. We will be holding heats every Saturday morning so you can compete with the best at CFPT and push yourself to the next level! You must email Taylor @ firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday of each week if you plan on participating Saturday mornings. I will create heats and post heat schedule on Friday Mornings. Heats will start at 8:15 and go until 10 depending on how many people we have sign up. You do not have to be signed up for the Opens to compete on Saturday morning!!!
If you are signed up for team CFPT
If you are signed up for the opens I highly suggest competing on Saturday mornings with the entire crew. Competing against other people at a similar or higher level will help push you to achieve your best score. Use the Thursday class to to run through the workout at about 80% so you can work on strategy and get a sense of how it feels for Saturday. If you can absolutely not make it on Saturday, please try and complete the WOD on Thursday with the rest of the class. I will also be sending an email out on Thursdays to anyone signed up for the Opens that talks strategy for the WOD. Please email me at email@example.com to be a part of this list.
Will there be a 9:30 Members Class during the Opens?
Yes and no. We will have an open heat at 10am for anyone who missed Thursdays WOD and is not competing in the Opens or simply wants to redo the WOD from Thursday. If you are looking for a new WOD, please come in at 10:30 for our Free Class.
